Catering, large orders, deposits, house-account work, and off-premise events often need a payment request rather than an immediate terminal transaction. Table Needs keeps that request attached to the original restaurant order.
Send the order, not a mystery payment link
- Generate a secure, tokenized invoice from an eligible open order
- Send the invoice by email or SMS
- Present restaurant identity, item detail, balance, and payment state
- Accept remote card payment from the guest-facing invoice
- Move the order through awaiting-payment and paid states
- Record invoice delivery events and payment source for audit history
- Prevent paid, canceled, or otherwise ineligible orders from being charged again
The kitchen and payment still share the order
Remote payment does not require recreating the sale elsewhere. The restaurant retains the items, guest context, production plan, payment, and eventual reporting around one order.
